February 11 2000 Update.
The paint is coming off. The white paint on the car was sprayed on thick. No nasty surprises so far.
 

March 16 2000
Another update, the car is completely stripped  except for the decklid and rear panel. The shop has straightened the left front fender and hood and has primered them. Its looking good so far.
