Program Overview Wildlife Fawn Rescue (www.fawnrescue.org) provides a unique, and necessary service to Sonoma County by being the only wildlife facility that is licensed for long term care of deer. We specialize in the rescue, rehabilitation and release of approximately 100 ill, injured and orphaned fawns per year. We offer free wildlife education to Sonoma County children. Fawn Rescue works closely with a pathologist specializing in fawn disease research, which benefits all fawns. We have received six awards in recognition of outstanding contributions for wildlife protection. We are a non-profit, public-benefit, 501 (c)(3), association, licensed since 1989 by the California Department of Fish and Game. Marjorie Davis, the Founder of Wildlife Fawn Rescue has written an overview of working for us. Required
