The Sonoma County Knitting Guild currently has three types of meetings:

Executive Board Meetings
Approximately Quarterly

The Executive Board is involved in the long-range planning of the SCKG, as well as the planning of the twice-yearly retreats and the annual Knitout and community education programs. SCKG members are welcome to attend board meetings. These meetings are usually scheduled on a weekend day, and may be at a board member's home or at a restaurant over lunch. The quarterly or so meetings are announced in the monthly newsletter and web schedule..

Monthly Business/Program Meetings
Third Wednesdays, September-May, 10 AM-Noon
(Skip to current schedule)

The Monthly Business meeting is only minutely about SCKG business. While snacking on refreshments and knitting, brief updates may be given on upcoming activities and guild happenings. When we can schedule it, we may have a lesson or short workshop by a member or guest speaker, or members may just continue working on their projects, sharing information and the company of knitters.

As of January 2007, we meet at the Steele Lane Recreation Center, 415 Steele Lane, in Santa Rosa. [Map]

Knit-at-Nights (KANs)
Various Evenings & Sonoma County Locations, 6:30-9 PM

KANS are get-togethers of SCKG members and the general knitting & crocheting public. No real SCKG business is conducted, just people getting together to knit and chat. The the current KANs schedule, see our KANs page.
