This was quite a moving ceremony. "Mr. Vintage Synth", Mark Vail, was standing with me, and we were both reduced to emotion by the time it was over. I was surprised just how many people were represented ... I'm guessing 50 people or so. All the while, the bagpipe band was playing, and I was trying to capture pictures, and still keep an eye on the overall slide show.
For the remainder of the show, the same video slide show was being looped on a big video monitor in the convention center lobby. So, it repeated hundreds or thousands of times over the 4 days.
