Life is routine

Life is largely routine these days, and I haven't felt like publicly pontificating on any particular subject lately, so I haven't made an entry in a little while. I did want to say this before I get my routine day started though...

I got to the office this morning and fired up my email clients first thing, as I always do. (I use two different email clients at the same time -- it's a long story, but trust me, I've got good reasons for doing that. Anyway.) I received a total of about sixty emails on both of my email accounts...

...and not a single one of them was spam. I'm wondering whether I woke up in a parallel universe or something.

A public "thank you" to my Imzadi for cleaning up after Shaw's mess, which I actually never got to see. As to the "bonk" for Shaw -- since you didn't know about that little glitch in the MT code, I'll refrain this time, but next time you won't have any excuses.

Best get the coffee started and get going on this mass mailing project the boss wants done within the next couple of days or so, so I'm signing off... a big hello to all sentient life-forms in the universe, and to everyone else, the secret is to bang the rocks together, fellas. *grin*

That wasn't a glitch, that was a feature.

Speaking of which, when are you gonna change this $!!##!$ white background, unless yer goin' through a marshmellow phase or something.

Muahahaha! Yeah, it kinda is a feature, considering the most entertaining uses of Parrish's blog are to see what havoc we can create on it...

I'm betting it takes him a few years to change the background color or decorate at all... Just think about how long his "current" best picture at his GeoShitties site has been the cute pseudo-gay wedding pic! *grin*

Years? how about centuries! What's the url of his home home page again? Lost it long time ago . . .

I'd step forward to redesign it and put some COLOR into it, but I'd also put a big ass link to "Shaggy's Mag" on the top.

Heh...his ancient homepage is:
http://geocities.com/zathras26/gateway.html

Unfortunately under my copy of Mozilla with Windows 2k or XP, the stupid menu he wrote is not merely nonfunctional, but redirects the browser to Geocities itself. Bleah, I always have to manually take the HTML code apart and hand-enter the URL of each individual page if I want to look at it! :^P

Ewwwwwwwwwww...looks like, like, like, like a geocities homepage!

Well folks, apparently Parrish has taken offense to something(s) I have said in this here blog. I dunno what, exactly, it is, but honestly, all I've tried to do is some good-natured ribbing.

Thus, this will be my last comment here in this blog. I'm outta here . . .

aw.. bye Shaw. I found you amusing in a hyperactive sort of way.

As for the white and shade of grey. I like it. It's easy on the eyes and not as difficult for me to read as light text on dark background (though I confess to making light-on-dark pages myself at times. It's a cool effect. I also like cream-on-black. It's elegant (though difficult to read.)

I like the white. decorate if you want to, Parrish, but if you don't, know that there is at least one fan of the color(less) scheme.

Oh, wow! I've been looking for a good reason to visit my birthplace again (no, seeing my parents is only a mediocre reason at best. and I doubt any of my old friends still live there. and don't even mention Derby because that's the worst time of year to go to Louisville) and I think I finally found it on Parrish's site!

If I go to visit my hometown, I'll be just down the road from the world's largest machine gun shoot! Oh yeah! I'll bet I can even get Rob behind that. hmm.... I wonder if I can save enough to be able to go this October.....

BOOM!!!!!

(And our Idaho conceal carry permits have reciprocity in Kentucky! Yay!)
