Stayed up late this evening to watch the Tonight Show to see "Ahh-nuld", who has just formally announced that he is, indeed, going to run for Governor! Quite surprising, since the rumor had been that he'd been leaning against it, and that his wife, Maria Shriver, didn't want him to.
Oh, man... this is going to be great! Assuming, of course, that Schwarzenegger can get all the signatures he needs on his petition. *cough cough*
Yep...heard he was formally announcing it this afternoon (around 3pm my time, iirc)...of course, we also now have over 300 candidates registered, from what I've heard. Including a model/wannabe actress, homeless people, a progressive newspaper columnist, her gay ex-husband, a man who made his millions selling car alarms, the porn king...it only gets weirder every day. I don't think *anybody* is taking the mess seriously, and I'd kinda worry about anyone who could.
