Greatspeed GS-2515C LEDs
Legend
- PWR: This is the Power light.
- ADSL: This is the Sync light.
- Lights 1-4: Lights 1,2,3,&4 are the LAN lights, and LAN activity
indicators. (Remember the GS-2515C has a 4 port switch built in.
- SYS/ACT: Please note that the SYS/ACT light is not a standard
activity light, on this modem it flashes to indicate the device is
active. This is a rhythmic flashing that does not coincide with
traffic as activity lights do on other DSL modem models.
Caveats
- The only Greatspeed modem/router distributed by Sonic.net was the
GS-2515C.
- What is called the ACT light in this diagram, is actually the SYS light
on the GS-2515C.
- Please note that the SYS/ACT light is not a standard activity light, on
this modem it flashes to indicate the device is active. This is a
rhythmic flashing that does not coincide with traffic as activity lights do
on other DSL modem models.
- The GS-2515C does respond to ATM channel pings.
- The GS-2515C uses the inside two pins on the phone jack.
- The GS-2515C can be configured to use either trunk VP/VC 0/35 or 8/35.
The default is 0/35.
