Alcatel Speed Touch Home configuration
Some Alcatel Speed Touch Home ADSL bridges were shipped pre-configured to use trunk VP/VC 0/35. For newer circuits, it may be necessary to reconfigure this.
- Configure your computer to use 10.0.0.140 for its IP address, 10.0.0.138 for its gateway, and 255.255.255.0 as its subnet mask.
- Open http://10.0.0.138/ in the browser of your choice.
- You will be presented with the Alcatel ADSL configuration interface. Select "Phonebook" from the navigation menu.
- You will be presented with a number of phone book entries that are
available to configure. You can delete existing ports or add a new one. Add
a port with the following characteristics:
- Set VPI to 0
- Set VCI to 35
- Set Type to "bridge"
- After adding a new entry, delete your old entry.
