  1. How do I set up an email autoresponse?

First, access the Email Autoresponse Tool located at https://members.sonic.net/email/configuration/autoresponse/ online. You will need to provide your Sonic.net login name and password to proceed.

Example of Email Management Tool interface

By default, the tool will indicate that the autoresponse is disabled. Click the button labeled "Enable" to proceed.

Example of Email Management Tool interface

You will be presented with a list of every email address that Sonic.net believes is delivered to your mailbox. This will include any Domain Email Aliases you have set up for domain names hosted through Sonic.net, but not any catch-all email aliases. If you would like for your autoresponse to only reply to some, but not all, of the addresses listed, you can select them here. If there is an address that you expect mail to be delivered to your mailbox through that is not listed here, you can manually add them in the "Add Address" text field.

Your autoresponse will come from a specific email address. Select the address you would like your autoresponse to appear to come from in the "From" pull-down menu. If the address you would like to use is not listed, your can manually add it in the "Add Address" text field above.

Enter the subject and body text you would like to have included for the automatic responses. Once you are satisfied with your autoresponse message, click the button labeled "Save Changes." The screen should refresh, and indicate that your changes have been saved to our system.
