The Federal Communications Commission requires that your cellular number
be displayed whenever you make an outbound call. If you place a call to
a cellular or wireline telephone equipped with Caller ID, your cellular
number will be displayed. However, you can block the display of your cellular number in either
of two ways.
Your local carrier may apply additional charges for these features, depending
upon your home location, and normal airtime and other charges apply. In
addition, some states do not allow per line blocking, which must be requested
from your local carrier. When roaming outside your home area, please be aware that some areas
do not support call blocking. Contact your local carrier's customer service
(611 or *611 from your cellular phone) or the Federal Wireless Service Center
(1-888-333-9473) for assistance. Further information on Caller ID may be found at the FCC's website, http://www.fcc.gov/ccb/CID |
