Gift certificates are available for $50 or $25. If you want to give more to your friend, you may offer them in combination, for example, two $50 certificates, or twenty-five $50 certificates, or fifty $25 certificates by indicating the quantity next to the Part ID. When completing check-out, in the "Ship To" form, fill out the form using your friend's (the giftee) address information, and we will credit his account with the gift amount. This may mean creating a new account for your friend. We will email the certificate to you, and although you may either mail or email the gift certificate to your friend, it is more or less a formality, since the amount that will be available to your friend is the amount credited to his account.
In other words if you pay for one $50 certificate and email your friend 20 copies of a gift certificate in an attempt to curry favor with him or her, they will only be chopfallen when they find that their account holds $50 in credit rather than $1000 in credit. (We have set shipping rules for the typical gift certificate purchase; for purchases of several certificates, it may appear that you will be charged shipping on the check-out page. However, you will not be charged shipping.)
