I use Io programs -- there is a whole set of these programs that
interlock, with lat. and long. maps, time changes, assorted chart styles
including bi-wheel and tri-wheel, assorted house systems (including
natural, Placidean, etc.), and "cookbook" interpretations for natal
horoscopes, relationship horoscopes, transits, etc. The set of Io
programs i have is about 6 years old and certainly not the latest
edition, but the entire set cost about $500 back then and i got my copy
for free from a student who wanted me to teach him astrology, and bought
it for me as the fee for my instructions. It serves me well, although
there are a dozen tweaks i'd like to make to it (for instance, it is
limited in that if you want it to indicate aspects to the ascendent, it
will also make the aspects to the midheaven, whether you want those or
not). But it does have a flexible system that allows you to set orbs to
your own tolerances and to add or delete asteroids and calculated points
like the Part of Fortune at will -- only, again on the downside, you
cannot delete the Moon's nodes at all, no way.

I am guessing that if the Io company is still producing astrology
software, they'd have fixed those limitations to allow for more
customization. I don't have an interest in researching their current
offerings, however. As for their "cookbook" interpretations, they are
pretty good, actually, although they are read-only, so you cannot edit
them in any way. About five years ago, for a few more bucks (which i
never invested) you could buy a write-able version of the "cookbook"
that allowed you to edit any part of it, which would be highly valuable
for knowledgeable astrologers who wish to print "canned" charts for
clients.

Hope this helps.
