the dragons I met were ancient. Kali is ageless. the elementals
I played with had no discernable means by which I could assess
some kind of 'age', though some were more playful than others.

sri catyananda :
>>> How do you account for the growing human population? Flies and
>>> snails incarnating as folks? People moving here from other
>>> planets?

like the expanding universe, the soulstuff may also blow up, yeast-
like in its Muffin Compartment. until one day when the Baking is
complete and Rising becomes Decay, Freezing, or Breakfast. ;>
Bob the Cosmic Muffin has taste, They say.
"kate" :
>> ...there are more 'spirits' wanting to experience life on this
>> plain. This is something that cannot be proven tho, isn't it?

assignment: design a method to ascertain the presence and
influence of spirits, interpreting properly their intended
communications and purposes. if this is a mechanical device
which can be sold cheaply through Ebay, so much the better. ;>
>> I don't believe in 'new spirits',
>> I think there are only old ones....

the Old Ones are a bleak alternative to novelty and genius. (BhP):
> As the qabala teaches, all spirits spring from the Limitless Light.

Ain Soph Aur? where does the Limitless Light spring from?

> Or as the pagan chant goes, "We all come from the Goddess, and to
> her we shall return like a drop of rain flowing to the ocean".

when wandering the streets of my urban home, I composed this to the
same tune:

We're all going to the Compost
Whether we are boxed or burned
		Like a flattened skip-toad
		Thrown into a landfill!

and its companion to the singing of the names of deities:
		Asphalta, Cementia, Metallica,
		Polymera, Coyote, La Cuckaracha
> The Limitless Light, or the Goddess, or whatever description you
> prefer, is infinite and can separate itself into as many parts as
> necessary in order to know itself. When we die (IMO of course),
> our spirits return to this Unity. The only difference, in my mind,
> between "old spirits" and "new spirits" is retention of the memory of
> this Unity. The Unity can be divided as many times as necessary to
> fill the need for "new" spirits.

see? ever-expanding soulstuff! :>
the power of imagination is astonishing.
knowledge is always its subset.

blessed beast!
