A Kappa's Hand

Somewhere in Kumamoto Prefecture is a temple or shrine which claims to have a petrified Kappa's hand in its possession. The above is a picture from a book that only briefly mentions it. I don't know where the hand is, but I'm hopeing to track it down.

There is likely a relationship between this rumoured hand and another, said to be in Nagasaki Prefecture... see "Kyuusenbou". |
