----------------------------------------
Cloud shadows on the ground,
Passing over glades
Cloud shadows in the air,
Tall columns of shade.
Cloud shadows block the sun
From a piece of earth
They are made from wispy things,
Large in width and girth.
Clouds up high can be chased,
As they speed along their way,
But cloud shadows can be stalked,
And frolicked in all day.
We who follow cloud shadows
Can have such merry fun
We spend time darting about,
Betwixt the shade and sun.
Every now and then,
There will come a day,
When the clouds cast their shade,
And we come out to play.
