They say I have two eyes,
That's my anatomy.
But I know I have a third eye,
One you cannot see.
While two eyes widely known
See cats and dogs and sun,
My third eyes sees the unicorns,
Their beauty rivaled by none.
My third eye sees the dragon,
Sitting next to me,
It also sees her friends,
Flying wild and free.
When I look in the mirror,
Two eyes see a girl.
My third eye sees a gargoyle,
Her skin a bluegreen swirl.
My third eye sees past faces,
Of anyone near me.
It shows me what they really wish
And yearn and long to be.
My third eye sees the magic
In any person, place or thing,
And that way I can keep life
From ever getting boring.
At night when normal vision
Is shut down for a while,
My third eye's always open,
Fueling dreams that make me smile.
So open up your magic eye,
And sit next to me.
Join me watching dragons fly,
Soaring wild and free.
