Where I Am

Mara Lynn Barbee

Reading through other writers' words,
I find some very meaningful phrases.
I particularly like:
"I want to go where I just Am,
and I don't have to Be."
It's in the same theme as:
"I want to go where I am included,
not where I have to include myself."
Deep,
touching and meaningful.
I empathize with the speaker;
I want to go There, too.
But, I realize,
I already am.
Well and truly.
My friends are all unabashedly great people,
and my family's company lacks nothing.
I honestly don't have anything to complain about.
Sure. Spoil the mood.
