This is one cool bowie knife that will be a lot of fun while camping, the cowboy shoots or what ever. I forged the blade from 1095 high carbon steel and left some of the hammer marks in it to give that right out of the past look. The finish is old fashion black oxide that took weeks to build up, and is durable. Keeping with the past I chose mule deer horn for the handle with a hardwood spacer and brass guard. The cartridge with the knife is a 45 Long Colt and gives some prospective to the size of this magnificent piece. The knife comes with a hand stitched leather sheath.
