I tried to illustrate the moment when Victor Frankenstein had his enthusiasm for a great scientific breakthrough suddenly shift to horror as he REALLY realized exactly how horrifying what he made was. The sad part is that the creature started off as such a nice guy in the book... if only his parent hadn't abandoned him, things could have worked out very differently.
