Tales are told in Japan of women with a strange ailment... when they fall asleep, their necks stretch out thin as their heads bob around uncontrollably. It's unclear if these are human women with a monstrous disease, or just monsters who think they are human, but they are one of the best-known and popular monsters in the land of the rising sun!
