Tomahawk came up when a listener called about that Joel Harrison track that started the show, saying it reminded him of, well, these guys. Discovering we had their CDs in the library, I skimmed through a few tracks and liked what I heard. Learning from listeners can be so cool sometimes.

A bit of classical air to this piano/banjo duet, Bela Fleck showing
some of his serious side. Intersting and light stuff, just the two of
them throughout the disk. Not very edgy but they sure can play;
you've got some bluegrass and jazzier stuff elsewhere on here.
Previously noted here.
* Anthony Braxton -- "Composition 355, Part 1" -- 9 Compositions (Iridium) 2004 (Firehouse 12, 2007)
