*Minotaur and Werewolf Allies*
Life in the Old World provides more than ample opportunity to drive even the hardiest-willed warrior insane. The insanest hardy warriors of the Empire are sent to Arkham Asylum. There they are locked up in little padded rooms and occaisonally used as medical experiments or front-line battle fodder. Arkham had always been a money pit for the Emperor, until one inventive warden arranged for the induction of standout Blood Bowl players Payne Getski and Howling Long into the facilities.
With Getski and Long to center the line, Arkham soon dug up a squad of capable players, including the Joker, Riddler, the Road Warriors (Hawk and Animal), Freddy Kreuger and O.J. Simpson.
Tragedy soon struck the fledgeling team, as in one of their early games against the always-dangerous Tunnel Pirates, Payne Getski was killed by a particularly nasty hobgoblin. The team soon bounced back, assigning slots to new inmates Der Ulfwerner and Two-Face, as well as signing on some new Minotaurs, including the particularly unstable Ferdinand (who has the nasty habit of seriously injuring his teammates regularly) and, well, something that claims to be Payne Getski.
Arkham has had it's share of success, but titles have thus far eluded them. Gene Simmons had a seemingly open path for the winning TD in Dungeonbowl II, but tripped on his way to score, leaving the way open for das Ubervermin; and while the Assasins scored 9 casualties in their semi-final game against Stormblade in the Spike! II tournament, they still lost on the scoreboard 3-2.
After waiting out a few seasons in the background, Arkham is back, avenging the DungeonBowl II fiasco with the title for DungeonBowl III
