National Disaster is quite simply the most sucessful Blood Bowl team the league has yet to produce. Half of it's players could captian most of the other teams in the league, which is ironic, since it was just that problem which formed the team in the first place.
Daht L Ooeul, National Disaster's team captain, and generally considered to be the best player in the history of the league, formed the squad after leaving the Chaos All-Stars in a fit of pique with All-Stars captain Morg'th 'N' H'throg. Daht returned home to the southlands of Naggaroth, and gathered up some of the more talented of his homeland's players. To fill out the roster (most players of the quality Daht demanded were already under contract with other teams), they traveled south to a tribe of Savage Orcs known only as Apokalypse, and persuaded their 4 chieftains to join.
With the Fearsome Four Orksmen of Apokalypse; Death, War, Plauge and Pestilence to hold the line, the accuracy of star thrower I.F. Hurricaine, the speed of Vlarn Headhunter (the fastest Dark Elf in all of Naggaroth), and the ferocity of the Tornado Neela Aslon, and the power of the Ogre freebooter Quake, Daht L Ooeul had his dream team. National Disaster went on to win back to back Blood Bowl championships, but eventually Daht and Morg came to agreement, and, along with a rebellion of the Apokalypse tribe, National Disaster retired, with Daht returning to the All-Stars, the Orksmen forming their own team, and the rest of the standout players becoming freebooters (but it's hard to imagine them without a home for too long!
