“Keeping up with the Arenots”
The I AM family is attractive to some of the Arenots, and they defect.

Hello. . .

We were playing in the TACO Chat Room the other day, talking about the “Arenot family” and I thought it would be fun to share them with you. We were talking about overcoming the voice in our minds that is always saying “I am not.” As in, “I am not good enough. I am not young enough, wealthy enough, kind enough, free enough. . ..or. . . funny, tall, buff, accepting, slim, spiritual, happy, expert, or sexy enough.” When we accept that there is really only one expression of consciousness here, one vast complex manifestation of the Divine, and that each and every one of us IS that Divine expression, we come to know ourselves as “I AM.” We come to know the perfection that we are in that Divine Expression.

When we know ourselves as the I AM, we still must understand that most people are still doing “I am not/ we are not.” They are a large family or clan, that we named the “Arenots.” And most people are trying to keep up with the Arenots. In fact, they sometimes argue for the best Arenot story:

“Wow, I am so NOT happy. You should hear the horrible thing that happened to me.”
“Hey, that’s nothing! I am so much more not happy than you!”

The I AM family is attractive to some of the Arenots, and they defect. The I AM family is happy to have new members, but it makes the Arenots very nervous when someone goes to the I AM’s. They will try to get them back, by reminding them that they are an Arenot:

“You Arenot as happy as you think you are. Nobody could always be happy like that. You must have been brainwashed.”
“Well,” responds the new I AM, “brain-cleaned might be a better way of saying it. I washed out the Arenots.” Of course, the Arenots can never understand I AM language, but the I AM’s can always understand the Arenots— although they usually prefer to not talk Arenot language very much.

There are some other branches of the Arenot family, the Asoonas’s, the Neverbes, the Onlyifs, and the Maybelaters. But they are a different story.

For now, I am just curious which clan you belong to. . .?

If you are not sure, you can always tell by the language you speak.
