It
has also been Laura's passion that Mar de Jade supports the
people who live in Chacala. Visitors have trained women from
the village in massage and other healing techniques, who in
turn offer treatments at very reasonable prices to guests of
Mar de Jade. When she is not in Mexico, Laura can often be found
sitting Zen at Green Gulch Zen Center, in Northern California.
