Construction

The hulls, 2 centerboards and 2 rudders are made of airex-foam sandwiched on both sides by fiberglass. The hulls have stabilizing fins which create compartments, with panels separating storage areas below sleeping areas. Each hull has a forward skylight, an aft cushion pad for sleeping, a sink, and a (15 gal?) water storage tank under the sink. The starboard hull has a 2-burner alcohol stove and an icebox. The port hull contains the battery, electrical wiring, navigation station, and antenna.

The hulls are connected center and aft with two custom-made aluminum alloy I-beams, and forward with an oval extruded beam.

A two-level rough-surface deck lies between the I-beams. Forward is netting between the hulls to the fore beam.

The mast is extruded aluminum, with a sail track. It is fixed to the center I-beam, supported by a forestay, two sidestays, and running backstays when underway. The boom is fixed to the mast, and has a cunningham.
