In 2005, the California District Attorney's Association
selected Greg as one of the “Outstanding Prosecutors of the Year.”
As Assistant District Attorney, Jacobs successfully prosecuted Richard
Allen Davis for the kidnap and murder of Petaluma's Polly Klaas.
Rachel Dollar, President of the Sonoma County Bar Association,
presented plaques to both individuals.
Upon receiving the award, Jacobs said “I am very honored to join a
group of very distinguished attorneys. What makes it even more
meaningful is that the Bar Association selected a career prosecutor for
the first time for the award.”
