Pepe's Comments

I had a great time this past weekend. I wouldn't have missed it for the World! It was wonderful meeting everybody -- The current players, the "Classic Beat", and the families.

It was really great to see "Butz", and his family before they left for NC, You are right about Waxy -- he hasn't changed much. A couple of us looked even BETTER than the last time we all were together (Marc).

Pete, you have a hell of a team of upstanding men with true character. I was truly touched that they knew who I was. It was a true pleasure getting to meet them.

Gunner, aka Dan Patrick , Jacq, & Jacque, Brian, Jim, and the rest (especially the guy who wants a card! His name escapes me - forgive me). I really wished that we could've had a place where we all could have sat around and told some of the wild history of The Beat, but I'm sure that you guys have done that, already.

I can't wait to get back out there, and root for these guys. What's not to like about them? They carry the prideful tradition, well - while adding their own "style" to the mix.

Next to John Palmer, I missed "Charles" the most. Sorry, Wilf, but you will make the next one -- even if I have to kidnap you to get you here! ;-)
