SESSIONS Khaira Swanwing pens her notes here: Fireseek 4, CY 593 After a stay at the Bloody Barbarian, Khaira finds herself in the employ of a priest of Phaulkon, heading to a ruined temple. She and the five others rescue a trapped hunstman, and rout some orcs and war dogs from the desecrated temple. Upon further investigation, they make their way below the temple, encountering a female ghostly shape which terrified the orc and some of the others. Sirius and I stood fast as the ghost strictly inquired about our presence. Sirius' smart and truthful response cause apparent satisfaction on the ghost's face, but the cackling and fading away of its presence was unnerving. Fireseek 8, CY 593 We continue to penetrate the temple's lower level interior. Foes encountered include a magical rag-beast, which almost did in the orc, and lightning bolt slinging web creature which fried the lot of us. I'm lucky to live. After much searching and searching we obtained some small treasure, but no secret passages. I did find a musty, moldy tome, still in decent condition though, in a library. I look forward to a deeper read of it. Fireseek 9, 10 - CY 593 The ghost appeared, telling us of clearing out the temple, and burying its bones. We performed the proper ceremony with Sirius' help, and our reward? Keys to the temple's treasury. Inside we found the following: Later... We have succeeded in restoring the temple. Phaulkon's priests should arrive within the week to begin the reestablishment. We head back to Greatwall, confident in our new ability.
