Toad Hollow Vineyards
2001 Dry Pinot Noir Rosé, Sonoma County --Sold Out!
Pinot Noir Rosé, what a concept!
The time for Rosé is now, or possibly later in the day when the shadows fall,
or earlier in the day when there aren’t any shadows at all, only thirst.
It is very important to keep all sources of sugar out of Rosé and allow the classical grapes to speak for themselves. Uncluttered by any real or imagined saccharine-like improvements to the breed.
We know there is a place in the sun or in the shade for a truly dry, uncomplicated statement of Pinot Noir at its lightest and most delicate which we proudly call our Rosé. We might be bold enough to say that most of the people who taste our Pinot Noir Rosé are converted to its single honest statement of here come the grapes . . . grab some as they come by.
Spice, pepper and heat bring out wonderful wild strawberry flavors. Great
with sushi and wasabe, or spicy Thai food.
Pretty in pink and proud of it!
