Pictures from our August 2002 trip to Kauai

This was a really fun trip for Kati, Graham, Anna, and me. We started planning it back in the Spring so the anticipation had really built up.
All arrangements were booked without a single hitch through Michael McGlothlin at Dirt Cheap Travel in Sebastopol. We stayed in Poipu Beach on the southern end of Kauai. This is the 3rd trip to Kauai for me. Once before in 1973 I stayed at the Kiahuna (I think this is the Condo we had) with my Mom, Dad, and Brothers. Again in 1993 Kati and I stayed there at the Whaler's Cove one year after Hurricane Iniki. Although we took our full set of dive gear, Kati and I only dove twice. We shore dove at the Koloa Landing. We saw turtles, scorpionfish, and butterflyfish. Trip highlights included:
