I built the "TRION" for a "CAR
MODEL" Magazine Article in the March 1974 issue. In this article I
showed how to build a Weber Carburetor with Custom Manifold, a C-Cab Custom
Body and a Paneled Frame for an 1/8th scale Custom Harley Davidson Trike.
Complete wiring instructions were also included. A special "Sponge
Painting" section was included in this article to show how to duplicate
the "TRION" paint design.
The "TRION" has been in storage
for over 30 years, I recently unpacked the trike to do minor repairs and
clean it up, unfortunately the front tire had a flat. I cut a length of
flexible silicone tubing, fit it inside the tire and that brought the tire
back to the original round shape. Fortunately the rest of the TRION was
in very good condition! These are new photos of the 30 year old model.
