This is the primary club of Liechtenstein.
The club was founded in 1932 in the Hotel Vaduzerhof. The next year they were admitted for play in the Swiss leagues, starting in the 2.Liga (4th division). In 2001 they were promoted to the Nationalliga B (2nd division), since renamed as the Challenge League. This is the highest any Liechtensteiner club has been.
