Has WSV reached the bottom of the barrel? A miserable performance and a measly "crowd" of 750 fans in attendance. Meanwhile, Oberhausen, which seems to be snapping up all of WSV players, is making a bid to win it all.
Playing like scared rabbits in the Zoo-Stadium! The "Bergisch Lions" without any self confidence, and the harmless guests had the necessary luck. Indicative of the current play by WSV: in the 33rd minute, libero Müler had the first chance of the match, but his turn-around shot was saved by Zwirnlein.

Hauensteins goalkeeper only really had to make a couple of saves in the 2nd half as well. He reacted immediatedly off Mademann's freekick (48.), but he had problems with Hartwig's free-kick (61.). However, he and his hard working teammates fully deserved the point.

WSV was dominant, at least visually, against the defensively oriented guests. But they severley lacked ideas in midfield. Very noticeable was the poor utilization of space and the complete lack of play off the ball. "One man shows" were favored instead of team play. Up front, Meinke tried very hard, but even he didn't have a single chance to score.
