I love ballet. I' studied ballet at Shirley Hunter's School of Dance for about ten years. I worked very hard to pass all eight ballet examinations. Because I earned the "Grade 8 Award," I had the opportunity to become a junior member of the Royal Academy of Dance.
Not only did I work on the examination exercises and technique, but I also enjoyed performing for others through the dancing school, at my church, and at various other community activities.
While at BYU I will be taking a variety of dance
classes, including social dance and ballroom dance. I hope to be able to join one of
BYU's dance teams, so I can perform for others and continue my passion for dance.
