We then drove a couple of hours north to Talkeetna, where on a clear day you can clearly see Denali (Mt McKinley), the tallest peak in the US.
While it was not a clear day, we believe that his photo, taken at a viewpoint shortly before Talkeetna, may show a bit of Denali in the darkest area of the light area near the center of the picture.
Denali is fully visible only about 20% of the time.
