On Tuesday morning, June 30, we walked over to Union Station from our hotel, arriving at about 7:15 am for our scheduled 8:05 departure of the California Zephyr.
When we arrived at the station, we found that the train was running 3 hours late. The first person we talked to said he was there today because yesterday (Monday) the train had been canceled due to flooding in the Midwest.
