The Experience Gallery provided an opportunity to try out the instruments. Dianne is trying out the Theremin (1920) invented by a Russian physicist Leon Theremin. This was the first widely popular electronic instrument. It produces sound from electric currents rather than by touch. It's quite tricky to put your hand in the right position to get the sound you want.
