During our visit to Tyler we were able to view this wonderful exhibit divided up between two locations. The machines were built by scientists and craftsmen in today's Florence, Italy after a detailed study of DaVinci's extensive 6000 notebook pages he wrote and sketched during his lifetime of his ideas. Many of the machines were interactive.
Leonardo DaVinci was not only a noted artist, but also an engineer, scientist and architect.
