Pigs For Sale

In China everything is a commodity. While visiting the market in Shaping, Yunnan province, they sold everything including live pigs. These were the older ones that were ready for the blade. The men would look over the animals and yell at each other about what they were worth. A deal would be made, but not without more yelling and then the pig would be thrown over a shoulder and money exchanged. I enjoyed this area of the world as it was so far away from the large cities and there are 54 minority peoples in Yunnan. Many of the older Chinese women in this area wore Traditional outfits.
