Here are a few of the many comments I've received on this channeling.
"I enjoyed this channeling on love and peace. I found it nice that almost the whole part of the channel[ing] is a discussion of [ourselves] as the source of whatever 'problems' we are encountering in situations that involve other people; most of all, one's problems that may seem to be caused by others ... can actually be resolved by your own introspection. That is something you can really take to heart and should help a lot of people understand why they seem to get put in uncomfortable situations/relations. I also enjoyed the part near the end when talking about one having multiple selves, both dimensionally and reincarnationally. It is one of my more favorite topics." — Eric
"Thank you so much, Marina, for these amazing insights. It's funny how what was discussed in this channeling was exactly what I needed to hear at this moment. ... I am now ready to leap to the next level." — G.B.
Obtaining Peace
Thank you for your interest in Obtaining Peace, the channeling I did on October 10, 2008 as part of my 2008 series of channeled or intuitive explorations of various topics. This evening's channeling was strong and powerful and yet comes across as deceptively mild. There are some excellent insights that I am still pondering. It has some deeply healing and useful information.
- Track 1. Separation Anxiety. 10:00 minutes. Why we chose to separate from our conscious awareness of our connection with All That Is.
- Track 2. Peace is a Personal Issue. 10:00 minutes. The more peaceful we can be in our own hearts, the more peace we will create and experience outwardly.
- Track 3. Denial is not a River in Egypt. 10:00 minutes. In this section, Metatron speaks of denial and projection, making mention of Matthew 7:3, which is translated in the Ferrar Fenton1 version as, “But why do you take notice of the dust in your brother's eye, while you cannot observe the chip in your own? or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me remove the dust from your eye,' while the chip is in your own eye? Pretender! First remove the chip from your own eye, and then you will see straight to remove the dust from the eye of your brother.” Metatron returns to the idea that peace is something we can create within.
- Track 4. The Simple Solution. 10:00 minutes. Simple, but not easy.
- Track 5. Remembering Our Soul's Purposes. 10:00 minutes. Suggestions for how to do so. Not judging ourselves. Some book recommendations (see this page for links to the books mentioned). Our multi-dimensional existence. Appreciating ourselves.
- Track 6. Love is All There Is. 10:00 minutes. We all seek love, and we all seek peace. In seeking peace, we seek love. We all wish to love ourselves, and the more we are able to do so, the more we are able to love others as well. How inward denial and its partner, outward judgment, is manifested on the national and international levels. Accepting ourselves and all other humans as part of the same species with the same global goals of love and peace. Chocolate or vanilla or neither, most preferences do not harm others. The harm that you take is harm you are doing to yourself.
- Track 7. Conclusion. 02:39 minutes. No questions were asked.
1 Fenton, Ferrar. The Holy Bible in Modern English, Containing the complete sacred scriptures of the old and new testaments translated into English direct from the original Hebrew, Chaldee, and Greek. Merrimac, Massachusetts: Destiny Publishers. First published in 1903. This version of the Bible was a labor of love and of a lifetime. The author learned the necessary languages fluently and read and compared many texts in order to translate the Bible as accurately as possible. He mentions in his introduction that there are a number of mistranslations that he discovered during the process, mistranslations that continue to be copied over and over again, because most scholars don't translate directly from the original languages, but instead use previous translations as their basis and sources.
One of the most interesting things that I found when perusing this Bible is that the famous (or infamous) line that is usually translated, “Suffer not a witch to live,” (Exodus 22:18) isn't even in this version at all. And when I checked other places where the word “witch” (or sometimes “sorcerer” or “sorceress”) was supposedly used, I found instead that the translations were otherwise. Usually it seems to be more along the lines of chemists and engineers.
For example, Exodus 7:11, translated in the American King James version as, “Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments,” in the Fenton version is, “But Pharaoh summoned the scientists and chemists, and they also did it, assisted by the engineers of the Mitzeraim, by their delusions.” (I think Mitzeraim means the Egyptians.)
And again in Daniel 2:2, translated in the American King James version as, “Then the king commanded to call the magicians, and the astrologers, and the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans, for to show the king his dreams. So they came and stood before the king,” is, in the Fenton version, “The King consequently ordered to call the engineers and mathematicians and enchanters, and Kasdim to explain the King's dreams to him. So they came and stood before the King.” (Kasdim is explained as being astrologers.) Somehow those sneaky chemists and engineers have managed to be transformed into wise men and sorcerers.
Anyway, the point is, remove the chip in your eye before you worry about the dust in your brother's. Get this version of the Bible if you want to have a more solid feeling that the translation is at least somewhat closer to the original meaning.
