I have been maintaining The Lighthouse Online since 1995 and CatMom.com since 1996 as a labor of love, making available useful information. In the case of my article on clumping clay kitty litters, it is information that has saved the lives of many cats. The letters I receive often make me cry, either in sadness at the death of a beloved animal companion or in joy at the near escape someone's beloved animal friend has experienced.
I have also received many letters from people saying that the articles on the Lighthouse side have helped them in many ways. One person recently told me that she finds my tone “refreshing,” and that, unlike the majority of other psychics and psychically-oriented Web sites, she finds my tone and approach friendly, down-to-earth, and respectful. (She said I would be surprised at how many psychics are condescending and patronizing. I guess I would be surprised, at that!)
Which brings us to you. You are probably wondering how you can help, or even if any help you give is enough. The answer is yes, you definitely can help, and it won’t cost you a cent. (Though any donations you make are appreciated!) There is strength in numbers. Any help you give is going to be both appreciated and will make a difference.
Here are several very easy (and very important) ways you can help:
- You can tell everyone you know about these Web sites. That way, this information can be seen by as many people as possible. It may be you who saves the next cat’s life! I have always relied on word of mouth, as well as links on other Web pages, to make the existence of these pages known, and it works quite well. I hope you are willing to be a part of this process by telling everyone you know about these Web sites. It is entirely possible that someone you tell will find some information on these pages, however small, to be a vital piece they needed to know. It does happen!
