Porcupine Rim Trail
Porcupine Rim: to put this ride down in words would do it no justice!! You must ride Porcupine Rim and see it first hand for yourself! Great climb at the beginning, breathtaking views of Castle Valley from the rim, followed by an extremely technical downhill. And then to top off, some of the most amazing singletrack anywhere!
Porcupine Rim Trail
The Porcupine Rim Trail is definitely my favorite ride in the Moab area. It's a great distance and has a little bit of everything. It has become really rocky and rutted from erosion from all of the use over the years.
Amasa Back
Amasa Back is a great ride that will test your strength and handling skills, from the minute the trail leaves Kane Springs Canyon until you get to the top! The views of Kane Springs Canyon and the Colorado River are incredible.
Virtual Tour of Slickrock Trail
A map of the trail with pictures so you can see the scenery.
Information on the founder of Slick Rock Trail
"It’s the feel of the wheel on the rock that draws me back to Moab," says Dick Wilson, founder of the Moab Slickrock Bike Trail. He is writing his memoirs on the adventure of exploring the route of this now world-famous trail that is currently attracting 150,000 riders annually from around the world, predominantly mountain bikers.
Dinosaur Footprints
The Copper Ridge Sauropod Track site contains fossil tracks of a turning brontosaur and four carnivores of various sizes. The trackway was discovered in 1989. The tracks are from the Jurassic period.
