Michael J. Freeman currently manages the Worldwide Field
Technical Training Team at Agilent Technologies. Prior to this, he contributed
in many different position in R&D, Marketing and Manufacturing at both
Agilent Technologies and Hewlett-Packard Company. In one of his Manufacturing
assignments, he led the consolidation of six Microelectronic Manufacturing
operations into one. In this role he effectively utilized Large Group Redesign
Principles to accelerate business and process improvements. He earned a
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Civil Engineering in 1972 from U.C.
Davis. In 1980 he earned a Master's of Business Administration from Santa Clara
University. He has been a manager and leader of organizational change since
1979. For the last several years, he has been guest lecturing at the University
of San Francisco, Sonoma State University, and U.C. Berkeley in the areas of
strategic planning and organizational change.
