ECM mounting

     After removing the original Weber ECM I needed to see what the new ECM mounting requirements were.  I knew that the front ears where in the correct position but the original Weber ECM I had a mounting bracket in the rear to stabilize it.  This new guy is busy back there and I really didn't want to drill into it with the PCB board installed.  This Bosch case has wider mounting ears so it looks like that addition of a couple more bolts will firmly secure it.  While back there also popped another hole in the rear floor for the extra wires needed.

First took the passenger seat out to gain more access.

A few more days and it would have been exactly 8 years since the Weber ECM went in.

The wider Bosch ears should hold it in place nicely.  Ny-locks will be used in the final installation.

Pulled back the insulation and installed another grommet..  It won't be long before it is full of wires....
