Barometric Pressure Sensor - Block M

This MPX4115AS Temperature Compensated Integrated Pressure Sensor will be used to directly measure the ambient atmospheric pressure.  Most systems quickly try to read the MAP sensor to determine the pressure altitude before the motor starts cranking.  We will have the capability of reading the barometric pressure independently any time we want.  We will always know the pressure altitude of the vehicle at any point on a trip.  The exposed hose bib input port will be accessible through a hole in the side of the case to attach a tube to a remote location.  The pressure inside the vehicle will be lower than the outside when it is moving so a static location will need to be found that reflects the actual atmospheric barometric pressure.
