This plot shows the relationship between the ignition trigger edge (rising) coming from the hall effect trigger in the distributor and the firing edge (falling) going to the SA Amp (Ign Coil Amp).  You can easily see the narrower #1 trigger pulse compared to the wider #2 pulse just before it.
