After purchasing a new MAT sensor (the original one was way too buried to ever get out easily) I needed to make a threaded mounting plated that I could screw the sensors pipe threads into.  This inner stiffener had to be drilled and tapped at an angle to match the contour of the air cleaner.  Really fun tapping this pup.
First a mounting hole was drilled to mount the sensor.  The stiffener is mounted on the inside of the air cleaner with the sensor screwing in from the outside.  Locating it here I didn't have to lengthen the harness much and it kept it out of harms way (getting tangled in the throttle linkage).  In the final installation you can see that it dressed out nicely.
