1850 Census for George Township

In the 1850 Census for Georges Twp., apparently in the area close to German Twp., I see a widow named Elizabeth Dawson b. abt. 1798 with the following children living at home:

Jacob, 24 farmer
John, 21
Lewis, 18
William, 16
Elizabeth, 14
Harrison, 12

Comments:

One really amazing aspect of this listing is that her property is valued at $14,500 which must be the highest valuation I've seen placed on any property here in the 1850 Census.

I see that it was a Jacob Downard who finally patented 1795 some of the land warranted by William Downard. And, it looks like the same place where I see W. Dawson in 1872! In the 1872 Atlas which I purchased this week, I see a W. Dawson [possibly William?] south of what is now Rt. 21 and still inside of German Twp. in that small section of the eastern most part of German twp. which is roughly where Balsinger is noted if you have a map with enough detail. A family of Downards first settled that land and some of it was first surveyed in 1771.
