Obituary for Hopwood Hays Dawson

Hopwood Hays Dawson died at his home, Ford City, Tuesday morning, September 25, 1928, according to word received by local relatives. Mr. Dawson was 66 years old. He had been ill for several years. Mr. Dawson was born near High House and lived most of his life in Hopwood and Uniontown. he was a member of the masonic fraternity, Knights of Pythias and the Presbyterian church.

Surviving are his wife, three children, Orville, Naidine and Elizabeth; and the following brothers and sisters: Frank and Charles Dawson of Uniontown; Mrs. Elizabeth Goff of Uniontown; Walter Dawson and Mrs. Julia D. Porter of Hopwood.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
